In January 2021, the award-winning list of the "Four Most" (Most Growth Potential, Most Innovative, Most Influential, and Most Socially Responsible) companies under the guidance of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and sponsored by China Business Times was announced. Universal Energy was awarded the "Most Growth Potential Enterprise of 2020". 

The "Most Growth Potential Enterprise of 2020" award was evaluated from three aspects: sales growth, profit growth and scale growth. A total of 15 enterprises from the fields of biology, technology, new energy and artificial intelligence have won the award, and JinkoSolar, the solar module manufacturer, was also on the list.

In 2020, Universal Energy overcame difficulties during covid-19 epidemic period, actively resumed work and achieved rapid development. Sales revenue increased by 101% and profits increased by 116% compared with last year. Through effective control of investment cost, financing strategy and improvement of project power generation efficiency, the annual power generation of grid connected power stations increased by 116% compared with last year. Since the beginning of the year, the company's staff has increased instead of decreasing, with 28 new employees, accounting for 21% of the total.
