Ecuadorian President Attends China-Ecuador Economic & Trade Exchange, Nan Yi Invited as Participant

On the morning of August 20, the China-Ecuador Economic and Trade Exchange Conference was successfully held in Shanghai. Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa and Li Dong, Chairman of the Shanghai Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT Shanghai), attended the event. Nan Yi, Chairman of Wontai Group, was invited to participate and delivered a speech.

Chairman Nan Yi introduced the company's development. He noted that Ecuador's renewable energy market holds broad prospects, and expressed hope that the exchange conference would serve as an opportunity to deepen mutual understanding and communication, with the goal of developing green energy projects that benefit local communities and support Ecuador's low-carbon energy transition.
In his address, President Noboa outlined Ecuador's current economic development trends and future directions, stating that his government would focus on long-term growth, enhance governance efficiency, and build social consensus. He also expressed willingness to deepen practical cooperation with China in areas such as renewable energy, mining, and finance.

The forum was hosted by the Embassy of Ecuador in China and co-organized by the Shanghai Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Shanghai International Chamber of Commerce.
