Nan Yi was invited to participate in the "Samarkand and Shanghai Economic and Trade Forum"

On December 11th, the Samarkand and Shanghai Economic and Trade Forum was held in Shanghai. Uzbekistan's Samarkand Governor Turdimov Erjinqiong led nearly a hundred local business leaders to Shanghai to participate in the promotion and discuss cooperation opportunities. Nan Yi, Chairman of UE, was invited to attend the meeting and met separately with Governor Turdimov after the meeting to have in-depth exchanges on UE's development in Uzbekistan.

The Samarkand region of Uzbekistan is one of the oldest civilized cities in the world and an important hub city on the Silk Road.

During the event, Nan Yi introduced the investment and development situation of UE in Uzbekistan to Governor Turdimov. He stated that UE will invest in the construction of a 500MW wind power project in Samarkand, which will become the first mountainous wind power plant in Central Asia. In addition, UE also has a vanadium battery energy storage business throughout the entire industry chain, which can store energy that cannot be consumed and provide clean, green, and affordable electricity energy for the local area.

Governor Turdimov thanks UE for its investment and development in Samarkand. He said that if the company encounters any problems in project investment and execution, the local state government will do its best to assist in solving them and support the company's development in the local area. He also expressed his hope that UE's local projects can proceed smoothly.
