20 Chinese Mainstream Media Including Xinhua News Agency and Jiefang Daily Visited Universal Energy

On May 6, 2021, leaders of the Shanghai Development and Reform Commission and the Municipal Information Office, as well as reporters from 20 Chinese media such as Xinhua News Agency, Central Broadcasting Network, Jiefang Daily, Xinmin Evening News, Wenhui Daily, and Shanghai TV Station, visited Universal Energy’s headquarters in Shanghai Bund SOHO for the upcoming China Brand Day 2021 event.

Nan Yi, chairman and president of Universal Energy(UE), introduced the company's history and current situation, core competitiveness, Belt and Road investment results and next moves in energy storage industry. After Nan Yi’s introduction, reporters asked questions such as how private enterprises like UE make good use of their advantages to participate in global competition, what is UE’s domestic business layout, and what role UE will play in carbon emissions trading industry. Nan Yi answered them one by one, and accepted an exclusive interview with Shanghai TV after the meeting.

When it comes to Chinese brands, Nan Yi expressed his deep feelings. He said that with their own advantages, Chinese brands have grown stronger and stronger in the process of Going Global. He hoped that through national events like China Brand Day, an image of integrity, high quality and high value will be established for Chinese brands, their international competitiveness will be enhanced, and more Chinese brands will go global.

The event of China Brand Day 2021 is hosted by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and other departments. In 2021, the event has been held for five consecutive times and has become one of the most important events for Chinese brands to present themselves to the whole world.
